La serie, in 8 episodi, racconta la storia del giovane Gus – metà ragazzo, metà cervo – che lascia la sua dimora nella foresta per scoprire un mondo devastato da un evento catastrofico. Gus si unisce a una famiglia di altre creature ibride, metà umani e metà animali, per trovare risposte dietro a questo nuovo mondo e al mistero delle proprie origini.
